Data Quality Check Tools

GDSN Connect automatically evaluates every item for potential values (or combination of values that may conflict) and presents them to the user for review. Potential errors are grouped by category to make it easy for a user to locate and fix the items.

  • Catalog Items: Review information for the matched item and for the catalog itself.
  • Menu Planning: Review nutrients, meal components, and allergens commonly required for menu planning and administrative reviews.
  • Inventory Setup: Review the relationship between ingredients and items to improve the accuracy of perpetual inventory drawdowns and forecasts from planned menus.
  • Procurement: Review and update vendor and pricing data to ensure accuracy of pre-costed menus and ordering.
